World Gymnaestrada Team

I’M READY TO EXPERIENCE REAL TEAM SPIRIT…

One moment you’re performing a hypnotic floor routine. The next, you are somersaulting down the runway. The pressure is on. But friends are right there with you every step of the way.

This is an opportunity for athletes committed to taking performances to the next level and who are ready to dream big between September 2016 and July 2019!

The World Gymnaestrada Team of athletes will focus on reaching the technical quality standards of a world stage display to perform at Canadian Gymnaestrada 2017, where the Team performs to earn a spot representing Canada at the World Gymnaestrada 2019.

World Gymnaestrada is a celebration of gymnastics – a world class sporting event that takes place every four years in Europe. Teams from around the World, ages 12 to 100+, come together to perform, learn, connect and bring smiles to each other. KGTC’s Team was a part of Team Canada in 2015, in Helsinki and many of these athletes are planning for 2019. New Team members will be added – so dream, work hard and be a part of this incredible experience!

Ready to become a World Gymnaestrada Team member? KGTC provides a safe, friendly environment with professional coaches to help you learn. What are you waiting for – Join KGTC today!

Who is this program for? Past World Gymnaestrada athletes combined with other experienced gymnasts ready to advance skills and performance opportunities. Gymnasts must be motivated to practice, keen to perform and ready to refine your skills as you work with Team members to create the best team display possible.

How do I get involved to be a Canadian and World Team Member? A meeting for World Gymnaestrada interested athletes and families will be held in early October 2016. If you are interested in becoming a part of this Team, please email Bre Erickson or Penny Erickson.

The KGTC Team for World Gymnaestrada 2019 will be involved in fundraising and become a united and strong group over the next three years.
