KGTC believes in making the sport of gymnastics and trampoline accessible to as many people as possible – after all, an active lifestyle is what Kamloops is!

Who is this program for? Friends meet at KGTC to burn off some energy, practice the skills you are learning and to have a great social experience. We have sessions for youth, adults and adaptive gymnasts.

uGYM sessions are supervised, but not coached. Adaptive drop-in are coached and structured to ensure your safety. Drop-In programs make participation flexible for you!

All participants are expected to use the equipment in a safe and responsible manner and to show respect to coaches and other users.

Important Insurance Information: All people attending uGYM and Adaptive Drop-In must be KGTC members in good standing – no exceptions. If you have already registered in one of our programs this year, you are already a member. If not, an annual KGTC membership must be purchased prior to or on your first visit. Membership is valid to August 31 of each year. To learn more about this policy, please refer to the FAQS.

What to bring to each session? We want athletes to have fun while they learn in a safe and secure environment.

They should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move easily. Shorts and t-shirts are great – just ensure that clothes are not too baggy as it may become a danger or too tight to be restrictive. Long hair should be tied back and sock and shoes removed. Jewellery or other items that might cause scratching or become caught in materials should be removed.

We also ask that parents/carers also wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for participation in the sessions. Wedding rings are acceptable although care needs to be taken with rings with raised adornments; please can other jewellery be removed prior to the session commencing.

Food and drink? Food and drink are not permitted in the sessions.

These requirements are important so participants have fun in a safe manner.

KGTC offers small groups sessions for those with adaptive needs. These classes will be specifically programmed to accommodate the many different challenges of our special needs population. Work is done on gross and fine motor learning. The focus on movement will help with coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. Call for more information as to how we can help you with your special needs child or students.
