The KGTC Competitive division offers Trampoline, Double Mini and Power Tumbling for children aged 8 years to adult. KGTC fosters the physical, mental and emotional development of its Athletes to achieve personal excellence inclusive of all abilities and goals in the disciplines of Gymnastics | Trampoline. While the focus is to develop high-skill athletes that excel in training and competition, our attention is Athlete Centred and therefore, is to support the Athlete in reaching their goals and achieving success at the level they are focused. As athletes discover to embrace the core values of the “Spirit of KGTC” – their personal and competitive growth supports a team environment of mentorship and encouragement. Athletes are expected to exemplify the ideals of R.E.A.L. – respect, education, assistance and leadership to fellow athletes, coaches, parents and the KGTC community in its entirety.
The Competitive division requires dedication, passion and can be a considerable time commitment as athletes develop skills and advance on to the next level for competitions. The Provincial Level athletes train 8 hours a week. National Level athletes train up to 19 hours per week depending on specialized apparatus training. There are some great-long lasting friendships developed here!
Who is this program for? Athletes who are interested in learning high-level trampoline skills, competitions and who demonstrated commitment, good work ethic and have been invited to join. Entry into the Competitive division is by invitation or assessment only. Assessments are ongoing during regular programs and by referral from another coach. Please contact Member Services to arrange an assessment for this program.

Food and Drink: Water bottles are permitted. Food and drink is only permitted in the designated area – Athletes Lounge.
- Family Participation Plan is required.
- Competitive gymnasts must read and sign the Athlete Code of Conduct set out by the coaching staff.
- Parents must read and sign the Parent Code of Conduct set out by the Board of Directors.
